We insert Kali L’s bit of genius here.
It moved me to tears.
I'd do it again
By Kali L.
I stare at the screen and I want to tell you
I remember how loud his last breath was.
I want to tell you I don’t stop loving you
and that I wish things were different.
I want to tell you how a year later,
this weekend altered my life.
I want to tell you a stranger chased me
and one 911 call and 4 police officer’s
later they let him go with a warning.
I want to tell you, you’re the last strong
person I held onto. I want to tell you what
the year has done to me and how I’ll never
be the same.
I don’t tell you though. Instead when you
text to thank me for being there for you
and witnessing his last breath I say,
I’d do it again.

The single best turkey dinner of my young life.
Slow-roasted it @ 200* for 1 hour per pound, or 11 hours.
Have never seen so much juice retained in a turkey.
Served it with mashed roasted butternut squash with a bit of honey.
Chopped roasted turnip with mascarpone cheese and
Mashed sweet potato with butter.
Amazing.

You know you’ve drunk too much when:
You notice your tie sticking out of your fly.
You hear someone say, "Call a priest!"
You hear a duck quacking and it's you.
You have to hold on to the floor to keep from sliding off.

This from Tommie Toner:
Loved your video on "Sipping." I hate it when people hold the wine glass incorrectly or "gulp" the wine.
Web Meister Responds: The amazingly graphic but intellectually satisfying 3 season series called Hannibal often shows him cooking, scenes that are artful and respectful of the food. Unfortunately for his guests, the meat course is usually human.
But he always serves fine wine with the meal and he and his guests invariably hold their wine glasses by the stems.
Another blow struck for elegance.

Poe is best known for his poetry and short stories, particularly his tales of mystery and the macabre.
He is widely regarded as a central figure of Romanticism in the United States and of American literature as a whole, and he was one of the country's earliest practitioners of the short story.
He is generally considered the inventor of the detective fiction genre and is further credited with contributing to the emerging genre of science fiction.
He was the first well-known American writer
